Sandbox

My boys love to be in their sandbox. Our cute little neighbor boy is my 4 year olds best best friend. He will do anything to play with him. I had fun taking pictures of them.

The Beast

Since I was a third grader my family has had a 1993 Pontic Bonneville and when I was old enough to drive it was the car I drove. 11 years later we were still driving it and it still ran well but it was time to upgrade cars so we sold it. I was kind of sad because it was a great car but we have been looking into getting a new car for a long time now.

Could it almost be SPRING?!?!

It is FINALLY getting a little warmer around here and we have been spending some time in our yard. Our snow hasn't started really melting off until a couple of weeks ago and now most of my yard is showing. I'm starting to get really excited about planting my flowerbeds and garden. Mostly my flower beds right now. I really like working in my yard. I wonder how that's going to work this year with my back all out of wack? Very carefully I'm sure! In the mean time I've been trying to catch up on my scrap booking (I take way too many pictures, it takes way too long!) and some major spring cleaning.
I got him a kite at the dollar store and he LOVES it! I'm sure it's not going to last for very long but we already got a dollar's worth out of it.
We cleared the snow out of the sandbox a couple of weeks ago so we would be able to start playing in it sooner. My boys love to be dirty!

Bowling

My husband has been so busy with school and work the last couple of months that we get to spend very little time with him. Friday when he was coming home from work he called and said he wanted to take the boys somewhere fun so we took them bowling. We went with my mom's family after Christmas and the boys loved it. My favorite part of the whole expirence was every time Blake went he would throw his hands up in the air and shot "I did it!" and dance around. Ty holds in his emotions a lot more then Blake does. He enjoyed it but he doesn't show it much while you are in the moment. I'm not sure if I will survive the rest of the semester without my husband. I feel like I'm going insane. At least the snow is FINALLY melting and we spend a hour a couple of days ago outside on the little patch of grass we have. Here are some fun pictures of our family outing:
He liked his shoes. He was mad when we gave them back. He wanted to take them home with him.
He would tilt his head to the side and watch the ball roll down. I thought it was just too cute.

Don't worry- both boys finally got a hair cut. They look so much better! He had to put the ball on the ramp himself. I was worried he was going to drop the thing on his toe but we all survived.
My boys love spending time with there dad. I'm glad in his few minutes home here and there when they are awake he loves to play and wrestle with them.
