Palmer Family Reunion

We have had family reunions before but this was the first real reunion with the entire family there. First we rented the red neck water slide. It was extra fun to have Braden home from his mission to be there with us! We were just missing Spencer (who just left for his mission) and Brad who was coming soon but had to work. 

The kids had a ball! Minus a few people sliding off the slide and getting hurt. Most the kids went down and those who didn't went on the smaller slide.

We also had a bounce house rented the day after for some fun at Grandmas. We had cotton candy and lots of sugar. They loved it. Not sure why I didn't get more photos of that day to post here.

My older boys met up with the cousins for some temple baptisms. We went to breakfast after.

Because we only had one day with everyone from the family together we planned family pictures. They did not go like I though. Honestly I was really nervous about the whole thing and I take family pictures for a living! I was way more nervous about this then any other photos. After a lot of photoshop I made it work. A group this size with this many kids is hard anyway but when it's my own family I just want it to go perfect. 

My sweet friend Jessica is a makeup artist here and I have had clients go to her before. She did my makeup for free! I've never had it done before. I just loved getting pampered. My kids hated my makeup but Bryan loved it and he is the only person I care what he thinks. 

In the end my mother in law got the photo she wanted of everyone. I don't have it in this one but we had a friend edit in my nephew who is on a mission too which made her really happy. It looks so good in her living room hanging up! So grateful to be apart of such a wonderful family. They are all wonderful people and I know that is hard to come by. I love how my kids have such wonderful cousins.
