I heart the ocean

I really love California.  I do.  Not really a lot of the people or traffic there but the state itself it's so beautiful.  We woke up at 3 am on a Sunday and started driving through the night to California.  I love watching it get warmer and warmer as we drove.  We got to hotel at 1 California time, let the kids run off some excitement, got lunch then headed to the beach.  After searching for a hour last year for the beach we wanted we planned ahead.  We love going to Huntington beach state park.  It's kind of a lot of money to park but you can stay all day and not that many people are there.  My little boys especially love being at the beach.  It was almost 80 degrees so they loved splashing in the water.  

I for course love taking pictures at the beach.  I  mean they have their fun and I have mine! And mine includes looking for sea shells and taking pictures. 

We actually found whole sand dollars there which I have never be able to do in California.  we found like 5 or 6.  Ty fell apart when he couldn't find any so I found one and helped him think he found it.  Of course he accidentally broke it before we left. To be honest I'm not sure what happened to the bucket of shells we found. Bryan may have thrown them away since being home...

I love the first day of our annual disney trip.  So much excitement! I was looking forward to seeing the fireworks at Disneyland across the street from our hotel but after waking up that early and the time change we were asleep my 9pm their time.  I heard the fireworks though does that count?
