Bath time!

No one lots to bathe like my baby. If he hears the water running he will come and stand by the tub crying until you put him in it. I took this right before we cut his hair.

Haircut

I always put off my boys first haircut because they look so much older when their hair is cut. I was noticing I could never get Stockton's hair to look nice so I asked Bryan to cut it. I think it made him sadder then it did me. But he looks so much better! And he was perfect while we cut it. We just turned on his favorite you tube videos of twinkle twinkle, if your happy and you know it, and other songs like that. What a sweetie.

This was before:
Looks crazy right? It was always worse after a nap and while he was eating because he would rub his hands in his hair.

After!
Handsome boy!

Christmas Tree

I am SO BEHIND! Right after Thanksgiving my computer started to freak out. With me being cheep like I am tried to fix it myself for awhile but I finally gave in and took it in to get fixed. It was supposed to take 3 days and it took a week. Ugh! But I can finally post pictures on the internet and I now have a huge hard drive for all my pictures and videos. Too bad all the money I have earned this fall from teaching violin lessons all went to my computer....

We usually go cut down Christmas trees in Idaho but with the weather this year we decided to try home depot. My father in law is working there and told us they had some nice trees. We found a beautiful 9 foot tree that had been miss marked and so instead of being like 80-90 bucks it was 30. Perfect! It is perfect and it smells SO GOOD! I have never had a tree that smells this good for this long. Sadly it is almost all the way dead a week before Christmas. It's sad really. If I would have paid full price I would have taken it back but when we got such a deal we will deal with it.

I did something different this year with the boys. I bought them a 20$ fake tree and let them pick ornaments and decorate it how ever they wanted. They LOVED IT! I'm glad I did it. It's in the basement for them to enjoy. We even stringed cranberries and Ty sat and helped me for a long time. Then I noticed Stockton was eating them off the tree ( really he was chewing them up and spitting them out) and they died and looked horrible so they just got thrown away.

Stockton loves the tree and for the most part leaves it alone. What a funny kid. I'm so excited for Christmas this year! Santa has really spoiled my boys this year.

Our tree. The boys helped me decorate it.

One night while Bryan was at work Ty wanted to have a Christmas party. We went down around their little tree and sang songs and they told made up stories. It actually was really cute and fun.

Walka- walka

My baby started walking yesterday! He has taken up to 8-10 steps at a time and is starting to try to go out on his own across the floor. It's only a matter of time until I have another boy running around this house! Video to come.

Birthday Boy!!

This has been the fastest moving year we have ever had! As much as it always makes me sad that my baby is 1 I'm glad that he is growing up and able to be more independent. Here are some of the things he can do!

-He can go up and down the stairs by himself. Bryan even takes the gate off but it worries me still because he isn't very good at it yet.
-He LOVES stuffed animals. He just hugs and loves them to pieces.
-He can say balloon sort of. It's more like "boon"! but still totally adorable. He LOVES balloons.
-Stockton walks along everything. He will even stand on his own for like 5 seconds.
-If someone is getting in the tub he will crawl from wherever he is in the house to find them and try to get in with them.
-He is starting to love to put things in and out of stuff. Like some blocks in a basket for example.
-He loves cookie monster and sesame street.
-Daddy is still his favorite person. He cries when dad leaves for work.
-I have to really watch the bathroom because my boys leave the seat up and Stockton likes to play in the water... yeah. It's way gross. At least they flush!
-My drawers and cabinets in the kitchen are always being emptied. He is really fast at it now.
-He loves books and being read too. Ty was that way too.
-Stockton has 5 teeth with a lot more coming in. His first tooth was the top side tooth- so random!
-peek-a-boo is his favorite game. He will even hide my face with his hands and so I can play it with him.

I love my sweet little boy and can't believe he is turning into a toddler more and more everyday.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from his birthday!
Ty and Blake gave him this cookie monster and he loved it.
The night before my parents were in town for his birthday so we sang to him then too.

This is the cutest toy! Cookie monster asks for you to feed him cookies then you can put them in his mouth and they go into his backpack. He loves it.
My other boys were really in his face all day trying to do everything for him. Good thing Stock didn't care. Ty and Blake spent more time with his toys then Stockton did.
I tried to make him a cookie monster cake but it didn't turn out very good.
He had no problem diving into his cake!

He was a mess to clean up for sure! And the next day he had blue poop.

HaLLowEeN

This year I really tried to have everything planned out so we could get a lot of trick-or-treating in and it kind of worked... but it's hard to do that with kids! First we went to my in laws ward trunk-or-treat and got a lot of candy then hurried home to go around our area trick-or-treating. Ty was so excited about the whole thing he couldn't even think clearly. He kept leaving his bucket in the car when he would run up to the houses. Stockton had a little bit of a runny nose and wasn't a big fan of his costume so he stayed with me in the car mostly. We went to maceys in the morning and did their their little trick-or-treat thing and then to papa Murphy's to get a pumpkin shape pizza and they were giving out mini personal pizza's to kids. Ty had his first school party and loved it. The only down side is we were gone when most people would have come to our house so I was left with a lot of candy... and I don't need all of it! Looks like Bryan will be taking some to work with him!

Blake said it stinks and wouldn't sit by it. This from the kid that loves a dead deer head.
Scary!
