I decided the best thing ever this year- to have Ty do swimming instead of soccer. Then I only had Blake playing. It was fantastic. Especially when Bryan was usually home and after being gone all day would rather watch kids at home then go so I would be able to go watch alone! Sign me up for that next year!

This is Blake's little friend Ben. We tried to get them on the same team but it was a no go for this year. Blake was on two of his friends from school's team, Braxton and Bryson.
I smile whenever I see this picture. I don't even know the kids name the ball is coming at but his face and the fact Blake is stepping back. So priceless.
Ok so I have a "mother of the year" sort of confession. I had a super busy day a few weeks ago right from when the kids got home from school until bedtime. I had activity days and then Blake had a soccer practice at 5:30 and game at 6:30. Bryan came home and didn't want to cook dinner so he was going to get a pizza. It took him like 20 minutes to decided what he was going to do before I just called and ordered one. He didn't want to take all the kids with him so he would just drop Blake off at the park for practice and then when he came home I would go to the park to watch his game. Blake was late for practice but I figured it was just practice. When I got to the park I couldn't find Blake playing or his team. I panicked a little and called Bryan who assured me he saw Blake playing with his time just 15 minutes before. I find Blake, his couch and his son Braxton sitting to the side waiting for me. Come to find out I had got the times wrong and Blake's GAME started at 5:30. Mother of the year leaving her kindergartner at the park ALONE to play his game (that he only made it to half of)and no one was there to pick him up. Seriously who does that stuff??? Lucky for me Blake has a wonderful coach who was very kind about it. I was only like 5 minutes late for his would be game. Poor Blake. My kids deserve a better mom.
Blake's coach had his nice trophy's made for each kid with their name on it. Blake was in total heaven.
And last but not least Blake scored one goal all by himself this year:
It cracks me up that Braxton is celebrating but Blake is just standing there. He was very pumped about it though.
