Palmer Reunion 2022

It's a rare summer when we have Bryan's whole Palmer family in town. The only one we were missing was my nephew Jake who was serving a mission in Chili. We started our reunion at our friend Jeffs ranch in Idaho. He has a huge pond where the kids loved playing. 

It had a huge pavilion for us to eat in that overlooked the pond. 

The kids had fun fishing in the pond as well. Here is my son Tyson and nephew Bode.

Back at the ranch- Jake showing Easton he had to wet dog hat on his mission. He had his weekly call while we were there. 

 Let me explain- When my nephew Spencer left on his mission my Easton was obsessed with Pirates. He gave Spencer his "wet dog hat" . Its called that because its black plastic and when you wear it in the sun you sweat and your head smells like a wet dog. When he left for his mission Cory his dad slipped the hat into his suitcase. So he took it on his mission. Now it's tradition to take the hat for the Palmer boys. Jake and Spencer have had it.

We brought our trailer so others could use the cabins.

We love playing 9 square and play it for hours. I love that everyone can play even the little kids. 

My niece Sannette doesn't like to try new things but her dad is always pushing her to get up and do things. Rightly so. He wants her to experiences life. But most of the time she doesn't love it. Ron got Tyson to help her into a canoe and you can tell she was "thrilled" about it. She kept telling Tyson she was going to die. 

 

We had a great time with our cousins. We had great food, fun games and wonderful company.
