 Temple day with Brett. 

I got back from a photo session and Bryan had a wrap around his hand. Apparently he had hurt his wrist while snowmobiling with his friend Daren. It was the first time he went in like 15 years and he gets hurt! Well long story short he broke a bone in his wrist and had to have a cast for like 3 months. It was nuts. 

Poor Logan- we went and got him his shots. But he didn't seem to be bugged too much by it.

We got a new TV! My dad kind of talked us into it. 

Months after Cross country season ended we finally had our awards banquet. Tyson got his letter for participating in cross country for 4 years. So proud of him and Blake for an awesome season! 

so crazy enough Tysons best friend Taegan got a notice that his MISSION CALL was in his portal while we were at the banquet! 

We went from the banquet to Teagan's house for him to open his mission call! It all became really real watching him open his call. He was the first of their friends to get a call. And Ty was gone almost every Tuesday watching someone open a mission call for the next couple of months.

Poor Sick Easton. 

I have a cool story that happened this day but I don't have a photo of it. The temple was closed for cleaning and our ward was allowed to sign up to go help clean. I was more than happy to do that- how cool would that be? So you go around the back of the temple, still show your recommend because it's a dedicated building, and go and get inductions. They had a separate locker to dress down in white work clothes to clean. Our group were tasked to clean the third level which is the sealing rooms. So we dusted and cleaned the walls etc. I mentioned that I had been to the 4th floor once before when I was working in the temple with my Grandma in the youth center. Years and years before. So the temple worker took us to the 4th floor when we were done. (we went to the baptistry to clean and got garbages all over the temple as well. ) They took us to the 4th floor. Which is a huge assembly hall and a killer view of the valley. Then she took us to the next level via spiral staircase. Which reminded me of the staircase in the Kirtland temple. The 5th floor was just on the side not a full floor. It had a sealing room there that Haden't been used since like the 70ies. It looked like the 1970ies in there. Then we got to go one more floor! There was a couple of rooms (including the circle part of the temple was a room that was circular and I guess pioneers would stay there when they would come to the temple if they didn't have another place to go. Then the worker showed us the attic where you would see the original carvings on the beams that the pioneers did by hand. Absolutely amazing. I hope I never forget that experience.
