It's hard to be a mom of little kids that can't go and do everything my husband wants to do. I 99.9% of the time am left home while Bryan takes the older boys on all these adventures and I fell left out! I get upset whenever I get left home over and over again. Now their are some times I love only having one or two kids at home. I do feel bad though that when I'm always home and the only memories my older kids have of me is all the maintenance stuff. You know, homework, laundry, food etc. When Bryan came home last Friday and said he wanted to take the boys on a hike to the wind caves I wanted to come. I was not about to say home AGAIN while they did something fun. So off we all went.
They boys did really good. I was really impressed with Stockton because he hiked the almost two miles all the way up to the wind caves. I about had a heart attack like 10 times though because a lot of the time the one side of the trail was a drop off and Stockton kept tripping. But we made it!
Bryan was right though it was hard with the little boys. For awhile Bryan had one kid on his shoulders and one on his back. The last part I carried Brett but we made it.
