Bryan has always taken my older boys on all sorts of hikes in the summer but with Easton being older we joined him on a few. Bryan had to carry East a lot but we made it! Our first one was the wind caves. Tyson was at young mens so he missed out but the rest of us went.
Blake took this photo with my big camera. I know it's blurry but I still like it.
Our next hike was later that week to the temple sawmill. It was a much longer but easier hike. There were all of these cool beaver dams on the way up the trail the boys loved. It was such beautiful scenery!
Stockton was upset about the hike until he found a fuzzy caterpillar. He brought it home in his bug cage. I'm not sure why he is wearing a glove.
We almost turned around before getting to the saw mill because we didn't know how close it was. I'm so glad we didn't! It was cool to see where they cut the lumber for the Logan Temple.
I love this photo. All 6 of my boys hiking together.
Our big hike was Mt. Naomi. Honestly I was worried I wouldn't make it. You climb about 2000 get and it's about 7 miles. It's a hard one! But it's the highest point in Cache Valley and a beautiful view.
We made it to the top! Easton didn't handle it very well. He fell asleep and was out of it towards the top. We wonder if the super high altitude messed him up.
Stockton yelling "I'm the highest person in Cache Valley!"
They always get a photo by this tree
