Disneyland Day 1- California Adventure

There is nothing like the morning of your first day in Disneyland! This year we decided to save some money and do the one day one park tickets. Because Bryan's parents were meeting us part way though day 1 they asked if we could California Adventure the first day because they didn't want to do a full day. Honestly I think this ended up being my favorite day even though I usually love Disneyland more.

We ran to the Cars ride first. And guess what? My little pirate was tall enough to get on! (even though he couldn't ride any big rides with the same heigh requirement in Disneyland... still makes me mad but I digress... )

Bryan sat with East and I was in the back with Brett. Easton didn't mind the ride and didn't cry. I'm not sure he loved it he said it was too fast.

Bryan filmed it with our go pro we got for Christmas and I grabbed a few screen grabs from it.

The older boys and I ran to get on the incredicoaster because we had never been on it. I loved it!

East was freaking out over these buzz lightyear bubble blowers. So he ended up with one.
Once again Bryan sat off while I went on a big ride. We were able to find blocks of time where the big rides had a smaller line so we took advantage of it.

 Our Mickey Mouse burger.

We were so excited with Grandma and Grandpa got there around lunch time! I have NO IDEA how we talked Grandpa into going on the guardians of the galaxy ride.

Ty giggled the whole time Grandpa screamed.

I actually feel really about about this next thing. Brett would cry whenever we brought up going on the indredicoaster because he was scared. In my effort to help him get over his fears I told Bryan to make him go. I had no idea how truly scared he was to go on it. I really think he thought he was about to die. Bryan said his heart was just pounding the whole time they were in line. He is in the picture on the left next to Bryan. He is just too short to see. That is Ty behind them. He was proud that he rode it after but didn't want to go again.

Easton favorite ride was soaring over the world. He wanted to "go flying" he said.

I was on the mater ride when I saw the sunset. As soon as we got off I ran Stock and East over to get a photo.

My all time favorite part of Disneyland was the moment Grandpa Palmer said he would go on the incredicoaster. I couldn't believe it. It isn't like him to go on a ride like this. Ty, Blake, Stockton and Grandpa Lige went on it while Grandma and I waited.

This picture makes me laugh every time I see it! haha!

Day one complete. Perfect weather- busy lines but we were able to manage. Disneyland was another story...
