This could honestly be my favorite picture of the whole trip:

Bryan and Stockton are on the beach next to our resort.

My sweet baby Stockton

Hola

My brother and Bryan at our resort

At the beginning of our trip we had a lot of rain. It can really put down a ton of rain when it wants to there! The best thing about the rain that unlike where I live when it rains it's still warm. Here when it rains it drops like 20 degrees. If it wasn't raining very hard we still went out to the beach and the pool. Poor Stockton didn't like the beach as much because of the wind but Ty and Blake went nuts. For about a hour after we took Ty down to the beach he would pick up some sand and throw it into the ocean then he would run into the waves and dig a hole and watch the water fill it. The kid didn't stop pretty much the whole trip.

I made the mistake of thinking that I didn't need to bring too many extra clothes thinking I could rinse them out in the sink and hang them to dry in our room if I needed more clothes but boy was I wrong. With the humidity it honestly too 3-4 DAYS to dry some shorts and shirts of the boys they got wet this first day. After that I made them ware swimsuits the rest of the trip. I could get them to dry. We had cloud cover all day but we still made the best of it. It was hard to get Tyson out of the pool and Blake even really enjoyed it. The pool that was our
favorite was really shallow and slowly got deeper on the one end so I could even sit Stockton in the water (it was just a few inches at first) and let him splash.
Ty had his fixation with palm trees and coconuts until I asked him to pick on up for a picture (posted here). He had this funny look on his face and I kept getting after him to smile and look at me and he couldn't. He finally said "mom they are biting me!!!" And he dropped the coconut that was covered in ANTS. So I had him run and jump into the water to get them off but it was too late. They had bit his poor face. So he was done with coconuts after that. Yes, I know. I'm mother of the year.
Stockton really struggled with the heat and humidity. He would last about 15 minutes outside before he started fussing. The pool helped and going inside helped but nothing as much as going back to our room. The floor was tile so I didn't dare putting down there but they had a king sized bed so I would sit him in the middle of that with some toys and he would play FOREVER. Too bad he isn't that content at home!! Don't know if I would ever take a baby down there on my own but given the same situation I would do it again.
