Kauai Day 3

This was my favorite day of our trip. I decided to splurge and get Bryan and I a cool date while we were there. Since my parents didn't want to go they would stay with my boys and we were leaving early in the morning. In fact we saw the sunrise from the airport and it was amazing!

We went on a doors off helicopter tour of the island. It was one of the coolest things I've ever done and even though it was expensive I'm so glad we did it!

They have us jackets and everything to wear. I had Bryan sit in the middle so I could see better but that meant I was on the edge. I held on to him tight but we were harnessed in tight.

The only way to see most of the island is from the air because there is no way to get to it otherwise. we saw so many waterfalls! It was beyond amazing.

After we went to Kealia Beach. My cousin told me it was awesome. It was the best! Not too many people and the waves were crazy. My boys aren't beach people. I love being on the beach by the ocean. By the end they had a ball. We were given a body board from a family leaving our resort (and we left it for another family as well when we left) and the boys loved playing on it. There were a lot of surfers out in the waves. The waves were crazy this day! The weather was perfect too. I wish I were there right now.

The boys did a lot of body surfing as well.

Sorry these are out of order but it won't let me move it- we went to Bubbas burgers after. The girls working there were so rude this time! Heaven forbid we eat inside.

After we drove to Wailua Falls . You can kind of see them from the top but the best way to see them is hiking down- except they tell you that you are about to die if you do hike down. But we did it anyway. Everyone but Brett and my parents. It was really steep but not that bad. And so worth it!
