George Strait!

In the summer of 2023 Ty told me that George Strait was coming to SLC. That September I went online to get tickets and about died when I saw how much they were. I was thinking maybe $90 a piece. Try like $250. I ended up getting two tickets and figured Ty and Blake could go and it was part of their Christmas present. Ty was beyond excited. George Strait is his favorite and he listens to him non stop. Ty loves music so much he always has it on. Mostly 90ies country.

This last spring I felt like it would be fun for Bryan and I to go too. And my sister in law Katie thought her son Luke would like to go with Ty. And lo and behold tickets were less money go figure. So Katie and I got two more tickets each that were all next to each other and decided to put all the boys together. Cory was going to go but ended up giving his ticket to his son Jake. Then Their oldest son Spencer and his wife Emily got some standing tickets right above Bryan and I and we all went.

Bryan was kind of a poop about it. He said he could always just listen to his music. But I knew being there is so much better. My boys with Luke and Jake were on the opposite side of the arena then us and a dang speaker blocked us from seeing them!

It was so hot. Like dang hot. We were lucky and in the shade but the other boys were not. They didn't care through.

Chris Stapleton sang first. We mostly got to sit but it was on bleachers. So much money for a bleacher seat! But it was so good. And then George came on and it was amazing! Bryan even loved it. Especially when the crowd was all on their feet. We had the best time.

Before the show the boys and us went to get some food at the Spaghetti factory.
