Tysons High School Graduation

I remember when Ty started his senior year it was so hard for me. I knew the year would go by really fast and boy did it! I tried to soak it all in but honestly by the end I was so glad he had the credits to graduated it felt like it was time.

I decided that day to make him a candy necklace because so many kids had tons of things from their family around their neck. But he left the one I made him in his car! So all that work for nothing. Which is such a Ty thing. He didn't mean anything by it.

We made what was honestly the smart choice and left our little boys at home. I wanted to enjoy the ceremony without dealing with boys fighting. And they didn't want to come anyway. Blake was there along with both of Bryan and our parents.

I had the boys take some photos with Ty before he left

They let them sit by who ever they wanted to during the ceremony. Then they handed their name card to be read before they went on stage. They had the biggest graduating class in cache valley. Like 400 something students.
Yes I know Ty is wearing sunglasses inside. He always does that and I don't know why. It's his thing I guess.

They did have a few speakers and the choir sang some interesting numbers. Honestly it moved pretty quick and wasn't that bad. It made me emotional. He is already 18 but this really marks a kid turning into an adult I feel like.

It was a zoo to find him after but we did and I had to make him take a few photos. He just wanted to see his friends. But then he gave me this awesome photo where he was willing to hug me. So I'll take it.

The only friend photo I got was this one. He DID NOT want me to follow him around to get some good friend photos. I just got his crappy phone pictures later which is ok. This is his friend Ty Ferrin.
Every month my friends from my ward and I go to the temple and out to lunch. When I moved into my ward I was pregnant with Ty and three of these girls were born after him. So he has literally known them his whole life. We wanted a photo of all of them together. Ty was a good sport to do this for me.
Charlotte, Brooklyn, Maecee, Olive, Paige and Tyson

Leigh, Mia, Heather, Shelly, Amy and Me- My whole group and we all had seniors this year!

Here are Ty's photos. Between you and me he should have let me help him take these. But that's the photographer in me talking.

I had Blake take this photo of Bryan and I after. I feel really old to have a son out of high school. It's weird to have my family changing so much.
