Right before my father in laws heart attack they were asked to be missionaries up at the cinnamon creek camp ground. They would live there most of the summer and help with groups coming up to camp. They were so excited. Then he had his heart attack. I was worried they wouldn't be able to go but after giving them some extra time for him to recover from his surgeries they made it up there in June. Jenny's and our family surprised them by coming up to visit.
It was so good to see them and support them!
I'm telling you it was the summer of razor rides. This is Gibson lakes up Franklin basin.
This was a really special day. For Blake but for me as well! Blake received his patriarchal blessing from patriarch Hicken who lives down the street. He knew my Grandpa Jenkins (who was also a Patriarch too) well so that made me happy. He was only 13 but felt very ready. He got very sweet blessing. He is such an amazing kid.

Mondays at the aquatics center.
Tyson was made a deal by our bishop McEvoy. If he worked for him in the summer he would earn his sons old car. Here is the catch- it's working putting in foundations and its really hard work! He would come home "a little" dirty every time. He wasn't a huge fan of it- I thought it was awesome for him. At the end of the summer he had some money in the bank and a car in the driveway.
When it warmed up enough to melt the snow we got on the razor and headed up to Mt. Logan peak. But even though the snow was gone that day was freezing! Honestly freezing like in the 30ies. We were so cold. Especially moving fast on a razor.
My dad had just bought him a razor as well and invited his neighbor to come too. Ty rode with him because we have one too many kids for ours. Blake rode with my dad to give us a little more room too.
The razor ty rode in for some reason made him get so dusty!

I had a few rides I really wanted to do last summer and this was one of them. There was a airplane coming back from war and crashed in our mountains. They used to have pieces of the plane up there but only tiny pieces now.
My boys were really into looking for Bigfoot last summer. So they were making "calls" to it and looking for footprints.

Bishopric- Shawn Barker, Bryan Palmer and Bishop Brett McEvoy
Bryan planned a date where he bought sandwiches and we went on a razor ride from right hand fork up close to old ephriams grave.
Because I'm the best wife ever I got Bryan a new push mower. And since he is obsessed with the grass and mowing he was happy.
Stock wanted to help me with the garden his year. He helped me plant everything and took such great care of it. You should see the pumpkins he grew!
Fathers Day
When the pandemic started all the temples closed. When it did open it only opened for people doing their own work so unless you were invited with that group you could not go with them. Finally at the end of June I was able to get in with Bryan! We went and did sealing at the temple together. With everything we went though together last year it felt amazing to be there with him.
Stock helping me water the garden. He made all of these trenches to water everything.
Our nephew Jake went though the temple for his first time! In the Ogden temple. We were the only group in the session which was really cool. We had the temple to ourselves it felt like. So glad we could be there.
We wanted to to mt Logan again when it wasn't so cold and bring Grandpa Palmer. It was so much more enjoyable when its not ice cold!
Ok I have to talk about this photo. It was my grandmas 92nd birthday! We met at a park and I decided to take a group pictures. Just quit not a big deal. I walked around the park to find a decent spot there wasn't many places to go with the bright sun. I set up my tripod and took a couple of test shots. No sun flare. When I set the timer and ran into the photo and got this photo. Do you see the light at the top of the photo? Its only in this photo. I saw it and showed my cousin Julie and felt so deep in my heart that it was our family in heaven making a appearance in our photo. I didn't tell her but I said look Julie that sun light is only in this photo. And I looked at her and she started to cry like me. We both felt it.
My boys with Grandma. And my nephew Fin with Grandma and I.
Palmer reunion- complete with water slide.
My boys got to go do baptisms at the temple and I got to go in with them. They went with our ward.
